HI! I saw a link to your blog through Spinnity's. :)
That baby jacket is cute so far, but I'm havinga hard time picturing which part you're actually knitting. I guess I'll see as you post more pictures.
I hope to make it to SnB tomorrow, so maybe I'll see you then.

Hey, Laura! I cast on for the Baby Surprise Jacket on Thursday, Feb 10 after the Stitches West Market Preview Thursday night. I'm using Koigu in purple and yellow/pink/navy/purple - bought from Foxy Fiber, who sold nothing but Koigu.
In the booth, I got to fondle 3 completed BSJ's and a finished one that was not yet sewn up. Also, Foxy Fiber has a sort of cheat sheet that tells you what EACH row is like. Helpful for those who don't follow EZ shorthand as well. I just finished: Row 44: Knit 90. Row 45: Knit 90. Row 46: Knit 90. According to the plan, the whole jacket is finished at row 90.
So with those 3 rows of 90 sts, I finished the sleeves and I'm ready to start increasing for the body. No photo yet.

Okay, I know I'm MONTHS late, but I finally started the baby surprise jacket and so far, I'm figuring it out.
